Our wine and cheese opening celebration features the opening of the Awesome People Community Arts Project by Lisa Heinricks. Enjoy sipping beautiful wines, meet the artist at the unveiling of her project, and maybe meet some friends while supporting Fairy Tales at our casual drop-by event.

Awesome People is a showcase of all the awesomeness in the world. We all have a story, we all make a difference, we all touch each other’s lives somehow…what’s your story? As part of The Awesome People Movement, local artist Lisa Heinricks is opening her 12 new Awesome People paintings, all of local queer figures in the community, and all from their happy places. The exhibit opens Friday May 22nd at 6pm and runs during Vine Styles regular business hours through the Festival. Lisa is donating 50% of the sale of each painting toward Fairy Tales.
“I’ve done a lot of reading and soul searching and I’ve worked continuously to find peace, within and out. This is where we all come in….what I’ve learnt over the years is that most of the time we go through life without knowing who we really are. Without finding our inner self or our personal peace. So… I’ve come up with 2 questions that plant the seeds for peace:

What is your happy place?
What is your purpose in life?”
