OUTReels Programming: Year Round

OUTReels Allyship Education anD training Program

Since 2009, we have delivered over 700 diversity education workshops for thousands of Albertans, using film, research and lived experience as vehicles for learning, discussion and empathy. Our programs cover such diverse topics as LGBTQ 101, Trans and Non-Binary 101, Pronouns 101, LGBTQ for GSA’s, Trans and Non Binary in the Workplace, Intersexed History, Queer History,Trans and Non Binary patients and more.

AllyShip is a verb. It needs to be actively nurtured and engaged in so that people feel able to bring their full selves to their workplaces and into their relationships. Allyship is no longer a “nice to have” skill, it is a “need to have” skill.
