We invite you to join us during Lethridge Pride Fest to participate in a screening of ‘Outliers: Calgary’s Queer History.”

‘Outliers: Calgary’s Queer History,’ is a feature length documentary which explores the activism in Calgary’s historical fight for LGBTQ2+ rights. The film recounts moments from the 1960s, when there was no legal protection for queer individuals. ‘Outliers’ features extensive B-roll footage from Calgary Pride in the 90s, which was a critical time period for the development of LGBTQ2+ rights. The documentary features loss, turmoil, and the eventual growth of human rights in Calgary.
